DEALR ("DEALR," "we," "us") operates an AI deal-broker that gives you an instant offer on your car and negotiates with buyers on your behalf. This policy explains how we handle the information you give us through this site. By using DEALR, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

We collect only what a sale needs. You can get an instant estimate without an account. When you request an offer or accept one, we may collect:

Contact details — your name, email address, and phone number, so a DEALR specialist can reach you about your offer, pickup, and payment.
Vehicle details — the year, make, model, mileage, ZIP code, and condition you enter to generate an offer.
Usage data — basic technical and analytics information (such as pages viewed and general device/browser type) collected automatically to keep the site working and understand how it's used.

We do not ask for a Social Security number, driver's license, or payment-card number on this site.

How we use your information

To generate your instant offer and source competing offers from buyers.
To contact you about your offer and to arrange pickup and payment if you accept one.
To operate, secure, and improve the site.
To comply with legal obligations and to prevent fraud or abuse.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. To find you a better offer, we share the details needed to solicit a bid — primarily your vehicle information — with the vetted dealers, instant-buyers, and verified buyers in our network. Your direct contact details are shared with a buyer only when you choose to move forward with that buyer's offer.

We also share information with service providers who help us run DEALR (for example, form and lead delivery, hosting, and analytics), who may process it only on our instructions. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the service and for the legitimate and legal purposes described above, then delete or anonymize it. You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see below).

Your choices and rights

Access & deletion — you can ask us to access or delete the personal information we hold about you.
Opt out — you can ask us to stop contacting you at any time.
No sale of data — we don't sell personal information, so there's nothing to opt out of on that front.

To make a request, email privacy@dealr.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA/CPRA or GDPR; we'll honor applicable rights.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to keep the data you give us safe.

Children

DEALR is intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
